Too bad I don't have a baby small enough to fit into these shoes... okay, I'm actually okay with that. I found the tutorial here at Pins and Needles blog. I'm excited to make more and try out some of the embellishments. Now I just need a 6-9 month old baby to try them on.
So after I made these shoes and posted this, my daughter was trying to put the shoes on and was getting frustrated because they didn't fit. So I put her down for a nap and then enlarged the pattern by 20% and made some shoes for her... so here they are, when she wakes up from her nap I'll take pictures of her in them!!
While I was at it I went ahead and reduced it by 15% so that I could make shoes for babies 3-6 months. Hopefully those will turn out good, the smaller you go the more difficult it gets. I'm excited to try!
